Admission Procedure

Admission to Devi Matric Higher Secondary School is open to all eligible students, subject to the availability of seats and fulfillment of the admission criteria.

  •   Parents seeking admission for their children must fill out the prescribed application form available at the school office.
  •   Admissions are based on merit, age eligibility, and interaction with the child and parents (if required).
  •   The school reserves the right to conduct entrance assessments wherever necessary to ensure appropriate class placement.
  •   Admission is confirmed only after the verification of the required documents and payment of the prescribed fees.
  •   The school management holds the right to accept or reject any application without assigning reasons.
  •   Parents wishing to withdraw their child from the school must submit a written application well in advance.
  •   Full term fees are applicable even if a student is withdrawn in the middle of a term.
  •   No Transfer Certificate (T.C.) will be issued until all dues to the school have been cleared.
  •   If a student is detained twice in the same class in succession, he/she will be removed from the school rolls, and the Transfer Certificate will be issued accordingly.

At the time of admission, the following documents must be submitted:

  •   Birth Certificate (original and photocopy)
  •   Aadhar Card copy of the student
  •   Community Certificate (if applicable)
  •   Previous School Transfer Certificate (T.C.)
  •   Previous Year’s Academic Progress Report/Mark Sheet (if applicable)
  •   Passport size photographs (recent)
  •  Medical Fitness Certificate (if required by the school)
  •  Parents requiring a Transfer Certificate must submit a written request at least three working days in advance.
  •   A nominal fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged for issuing the Transfer Certificate.
  •   The T.C. will be issued only after verifying that all dues to the school have been cleared.
  •   Students detained twice in the same class will be automatically removed from the school rolls, and the T.C. will be issued accordingly without additional procedures.

Devi Matric Higher Secondary School follows a structured and transparent admission process. Parents are requested to carefully read the admission guidelines before applying:

  • 1. Age Eligibility:
  •   Children who complete 3 years by July are eligible for admission to L.K.G.
  •   Children who complete 4 years by July are eligible for admission to U.K.G.
  •   For admission into Standard I, the child must have completed 5 years by July.
  •   One additional year is to be added for eligibility for each higher class.
  • 2. Transfer Certificate Requirement:
  •   Admission into U.K.G. and higher classes will be accepted based on the production of a Transfer Certificate (T.C.) from a recognized school.
  • 3. Birth Certificate Submission:
  •   Parents or guardians must produce the birth certificate of the child issued by the Municipal or other competent authorities at the time of admission.
  • 4. Photograph:
  •   A recent passport-size color photograph of the child must be affixed to the admission application form.
  • 5. Non-Refundable Admission Fee:
  •   The admission fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.
